Both.
For that reason nearly all of my china posts come directly from my porcelain thrown!
After I got myself well and truly sorted out all the group met up to go to Kowloon Harbour to watch the much anticipated Hong Kong light show. We had a good laugh but unfortunately the show left us all a little underwhelmed.
We then went for a final meal together, where lots of us decided to take advantage of the free soup by having it for starter and desert!
On the way back to the hotel I lost my bearings (on a completely straight road back) and got quite lost. This was really upsetting as this meant I missed out on the final farewells to my new friends. I was really upset.
The next day I did a bit of shopping in Kowloon where my lack of a smart phone hindered me all day. The amount of free stuff available in HK is mind boggling, but only if you 'like' them on FB. When trying to explain I didn't have a iPhone to a lady she looked at me as if I had a third eye. Everyone in HK is fully tech'ed up apparently!
My shocking the locals didn't stop there, apparently table manners are a lot more important in HK compared to China, when I poured my rice into my main meal bowl the waiter actually did a double take, laughed and shook his head.
After dinner I was wandering back to my new hostel slowly when I heard some music banging out of a shopping mall. I went to investigate. There was a gig going on in the mall with a band called 'gimme' then a hand print, there name may be 'gimme five' it wasn't clear.
I blagged my way into the cordoned off section and enjoyed the gig, afterwards I even got a free t-shirt!
The rest of the way back was no less eventful with knots of people around bands doing karaoke in the street, I stopped a while enjoying a guy in a blue tinsel hat belt them out for a while.
