Disappointment and exploration

On Tuesday I started, and finished with the Melbourne storm rugby league team. It was not at all the experiance I was expecting and I was largely underwhelmed. 

I therefore spent the rest of the week exploring the city. I met with Tyrone my friend from Malaysia and Sydney and we walked around, visiting the ANZAC war memorial, casino and botanic gardens before heading into china town for a huge steaming bowl of noodles. It seems strange to think that only two months ago I was only eating with chopsticks now here I am again by choice!

In the evening I met Aaron and Sarah friends from Sorrento for dinner. They gave me the low down on New Zealand and told me all about what it was like moving to Melbourne after their European adventure.
